Tasmanian Railways - Volume 2

  • $30.00

The Tasmanian Railway series looks at a variety of rail operations throughout Tasmania from hard working diesel action, to a variety of steam motive power.

In Volume 2 we take a look at 2 ex Queensland Railways 2050 class being lifted onto their wheel sets at Devonport then towed by ZB 2122 to Launceston. This is history in the making!

Regular services with DQ, D, Z, ZA, ZR and MKA classes filmed between 2008 and 2011 provide great sound and vision, first train to run over the new Brighton bridge, 4 red DQ class locos make an epic assault through the Rhyndaston tunnel and put on a good show climbing the steep grade of Don hill, Z class on coal, paper and intermodal freights, DQ 2006 returns to service in new livery with banners, steam locomotive M4 on regular services at the Don River Railway and the restoration and operations of steam loco C22 tops off another exciting programme to the Tasmanian Railways series.

A must for the railway enthusiast library!
