Media Copyright Notice for Loan or Rental
All video and audio (DVD, BD, CD) media listed on this website is licenced for personal home use only. It is not licenced for loan or rental or able to be broadcast in any way. Unfortunately we are unable to supply organisations such as library’s, hotel’s or video rental houses. 

Payment Methods
Mail order we accept personal check, money order and credit card. International mail order we accept credit card only. For secure on-line payments we accept VISA CARD, MASTER CARD and PAYPAL... or you can select to pay via Cheque, Money Order and DIRECT BANK DEPOSIT. Just select your preferred payment method on the Check Out page and follow the instructions provided. Orders paid via Cheque or Money Order will take an additional 14 days to ship as we have to wait for the bank to clear payment. All prices shown on this website are subject to change at any time without notice. Payment will be taken from your preferred payment provider for all Back Order or Special Order items at check out time. If we are unable to supply the item you ordered we will refund to the same value at time of processing from the shopping cart system.

My Disc won't play
Quite often the cause of this can be due to discs that have been handled incorrectly (ie. fingerprints or scratches on the read surface, discs forcibly removed from their casing causing cracks). It is most unusual for a disc to be faulty in any way when manufactured. There are rare instances of faulty batches, which usually result in product recalls. It is therefore imperative that you check for any of these problems before contacting us. Occasionally discs have been found to not be compatible with certain DVD players, which is why we encourage our customers to firstly check any problem discs on another brand of player. Failing the above, please refer to our Returns Policy information.

What happens if my order doesn't arrive
If your order doesn't arrive and it shipped by Standard Post there is little we or you can do about it. There is no way of tracking standard surface mail, so unfortunately you, the consumer have to take the risk. Australia Post will cover up to $50.00 worth of damage with their standard service (at their discretion). However, to ensure your order will arrive promptly we recommend using the Registered Post service. On the unlikely chance that it doesn't arrive we can track the shipment and if lost, insurance covers replacement of the goods and your order is reshipped to you. Express Post is also a good way of ensuring prompt delivery, however there is no insurance with this service... but Australia Post will cover up to $100.00 worth of damage (at their discretion). Out of stock products
We make every attempt to carry a large stock of all products at all times - with some brands ordered on an as required basis (SPECIAL ORDER). Sometimes heavy demand leads to some items being or going out of stock for a short period of time or due to a supplier deleting or changing a stocked line. As all orders are filled on a "first in, first served" basis, you may have placed an item into your cart when the product was showing "in stock", however it may have gone "out of stock" by the processing time if there were other orders finalised before yours. When you finalise the order notification will be provided of any items in your cart that are out of stock. If you choose to proceed with the purchase, we will not ship the order until all products are available. This may take up to 90 days for internationally sourced titles. Train Pictures reserves the right of non-supply for any reason at its discretion. Payment will be taken from your preferred payment provider for all Back Order or Special Order items at check out time. If we are unable to supply the item you ordered we will refund to the same value at time of processing from the shopping cart system.

Returns Policy
All claims must be made within 21 days of invoice for AU customers, at our discretion for OS customers. After this period the goods are considered received in good order and condition and no further claims can be made. We do not offer a refund or exchange if you have decided that after watching the title you do not like it - for any reason. Please be aware, many of the titles include old amateur video footage of the subject era. This footage will not be up to today's HD standards and is not regarded as a reason for a return. We also do not offer a refund if you don't like the media format... please read the product specifications and select carefully. We will exchange a title only if the returning item is still shrink wrapped and includes the REWARDS sticker (if applicable), no shrink wrap - no exchange (or see below: Return of As New / Used Items). We will refund or exchange or offer a credit (at our discretion) if you receive incorrect or defective merchandise due to a manufacturing fault. Please return the item with a copy of the invoice and be sure to indicate the reason for your return and include the original order / invoice number and we will send you a replacement. We will credit up to $10.00 (at our discretion) for return shipping if we have sent you a product in error. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling fees for replacement shipments. If a product arrives damaged we will replace it for you, up to the value of $100.00AUD only if the original order was shipped via Registered Post. Standard Post or Express Post: We do not take responsibility for the actions of Australia Post if they loose or damage an article. If you choose to use Standard Post or Express Post... the risk is all yours. Please allow up to 4 weeks (longer for customers outside Australia) for returns to be processed. If a refund is given we will notify you via email. Please note that we do not refund shipping costs, only the value of the product. You can expect a refund in the form of a voucher or cheque. For a refund the merchandise must be in original condition. We recommend that you send your return via an insured carrier. We are not responsible for lost or damaged returns. If the returned item arrives damaged we will send it back to you as non-refundable. Return of As New / Used Items
If you wish to return a genuine used title or one that has no shrink-wrap you may do so. This is how it works:

First check over the box, paper parts and disc, are they in as new condition? The play side of the disc must be in A1 condition… If it isn’t then see clause (c).

(a) Return the used item with a copy of the invoice listing the exact title name and we will provide a credit of up to 50% (at our discretion) of the value paid (the invoice must be included - the price sticker is not a valid reference). The final amount we credit depends on the physical state of the item.

(b) If you do not have a copy of the invoice we will credit up to 25% (at our discretion) of the current web price listed on the Train Pictures web site. The final amount we credit depends on the physical state of the item.

(c) If the box is broken or the disc is blemished / scratched or there is handwriting of any kind on the disc or paper parts the best we can offer is up to $2.00 - take it or leave it!

Why are we so strict with returns and used items? One word - Piracy! There are just too many illegal copies floating around… how many do you have? Those who have produced the video and audio work that you enjoy deserve to be paid… just as you deserve to be paid when you work at your place of employment. Do the right thing, have a clear conscience and be part of the solution, not part of the problem. Don’t share or accept illegal copies. If you are offered a copy from a mate, politely decline. Send your illegal copies to us for destruction and receive a discount voucher as a thank you. You will remain anonymous.
