Tasmanian Railways Around the State

  • $30.00

The period between 2012 – 2013 saw the usual variety of Tasrail’s locomotive fleet operating on all types of workings around Tasmania. On the preserved network, M4 returned to traffic following major firebox repairs on the Don River Railway, and M5 re-entered service following a boiler inspection. Coal, mineral, paper, intermodal freights and much more provided great viewing on the mainline, and Tasrail began a period of scrapping out of use locomotives.
