Big Trains in a Big Country

The United States and Canada know how to get the most out of their railroads – utilising the latest developments in emission controlled diesel electric locomotion.

The parade of freight trains across the American continent is one that challenges the senses with their enormous length, speed and obvious demonstration of power.

Rail power is where it’s at, and these massive trains of over 130 freight cars moving bulk raw materials and consumer goods across the continent are captured in all their glory in this special one hour production.

From the forests of Montana and California, the rolling plains of Nebraska and Wyoming, the vast deserts of Arizona, to the Utah canyons and the lush greenery of Alberta – the very best of what North America has to offer for the railfan is all here.

No introduction or narration is needed – the trains and the scenery speak for themselves.
