Steaming Around the Loop

Join us for the 2008 Steam tour along the North Coast Line to Gympie.

After a visit to the Mary Valley Heritage Railway and a great time on the Valley Rattler, we are off again to the Monto Loop.

This loop line between Maryborough and Gladstone was created when lines from Maryborough to Gayndah, and Gladstone to Many Peaks were extended and connected at Monto.

This 2008 trip may be the last time trains run over the full Monto Loop metals.

Includes trackside and on board footage with narration that doesn't detract from the sound of steam.
