Utah Railway Over Soldier Summit

The Utah Railway owns only 6 MK50-3/s built & these together with 5 ex Australian SD50's drag 15,000 ton coal trains up 2.4% grades to Soldier Summit using all of the roaring 38,000 horsepower creating an unforgettable spectacle. The line over Soldier Summit belongs to Union Pacific along with BNSF trains on trackage rights as well as the Utah Railway.
