Steam in the Hunter

This presentation contains unseen archive footage of steam's final years working around the Hunter Valley region of NSW. Atomspheric scenes are shown at Port Waratah & Broadmedow depots and Garratts hauling large coal trains to and from collieries. Many passenger trains between Sydney & Hunter destinations between 1968 - 1972 and several of these are shown including the Merriwa Branch, Weston & Werris Creek.
