Santa Fe in Kansa City

Kansas City is one of the nations largest railroad hubs and it has been that way for a long time. In 1992 the largest presence in Kansas City were the bonnets of Santa Fe. And the largest concentration of those locomotives is Argentine Yard. We begin our look at Kansas city at Argentine Yard. The Yard is not a huge clearing house for freight, but it is a crew change location and the location of the diesel shops. You will see red and blue Warbonnets and a lot of fallen flags. In 1992 merger mania had yet to take hold of America's railroads. Conrail, CNW & BN all make appearances.
