Return of a Pacific - Flying Scotsman

January 2016 saw the long awaited return of the worlds most famous steam locomotive to active service.

After a major rebuild which took just over 10 years, 4472 Flying Scotsman moved for the first time under its own steam on the 6th of January, and marked the beginning of another chapter in the history of this iconic locomotive.

In this special DVD release, we follow the first runs of Flying Scotsman in its wartime black with the numbers 502 and 103 on the cab sides, and its British Railways number on the smoke box door.

See the loco at work on its first workings on the mainline which were very successful.
