Filmed in North Queensland around the area between Innisfail and Deeral, this DVD showcases the various tramway operations during the diesel era from 1995 to 2007 with line-side, on-train and pacing footage.
Not only will you see non-stop rail action, many aspects of general sugar season operations are also shown including harvesting equipment movements, cross loading from truck to train, movements around the mill and yards plus daily in-the-field events that keep loaded trains on the rails and on the move.
No narration, only live audio... the trains to do all the talking. Sub titles are included to give additional detail where required.
Unfortunately the Babinda Mill effectively closed at the end of the 2010 crush. Official closure occurred on Friday 25th February 2011.
