In this all new extended edition DVD we take a look at trains travelling along the Sydney to Brisbane line, Between Casino in Northern NSW and Kagaru south of Brisbane. In Particular, close attention is paid to the magnificent Border Ranges and Spiral Loop.
In 1930 a standard gauge track officially opened between the two cities, which required a spiral loop just over the NSW border to enable the track to gain altitude with reasonable gradients to cross the border Mountain Range.
In this DVD you will see both XPT and freight trains circling around, as well as tunnel shots.
With an array of different locations, angles, lighting and weather conditions, this DVD will be sure to satisfy every train lover. All scenes were shot using high definition broadcast cameras, by experienced Cinematographer, Wayne Wrona. The results speak for themselves with the Blu-Ray versions producing quality not previously seen on Australian railfan titles before.
