China - Last of the Steam Dragons

In this programme we take an in depth look at the provincial steam trains in China. Using state of the art digital video equipment we travel to Tng Chuan, part of a vast coal mining area near the ancient wall of Xian, site of the terra cotta warriors. We focus on the mighty QJ 2-10-2 locomotive out on shunting duties. Also we see the JF’s performing haulage duties.
